Du 1er janvier au 30 avril 2013, sous le commissariat d'exposition de Magda Danysz, Les Bains-Douches se convertirent en une résidence d'artistes éphémère avant d'être fermés pour un vaste projet de rénovation. Ce livre documente les interventions des cinquante artistes urbains qui ont investi les 3000 m2 de cet imposant immeuble Hausmannien : bombe, pochoir, affiche, photographie, brosse, éponge, craie, marteau-piqueur et installation, le répertoire est très large, éblouissant et étourdissant.
L'artiste urbain WK présente dans cet ouvrage les travaux qu'il a effectués durant les 25 dernières années. Ses peintures en noir et blanc de très grand format représentent généralement des personnages en mouvement aux allures fugitives, qui nous entraînent dans leur dynamique. Récemment exposé à la galerie Jonathan Levine à New York, on l'a aussi vu chez Dazed & Confused à Londres ou encore chez Colette à Paris.
